It’s October! Can you believe it?? I surely can’t. Especially since October means something special for Ky and I.
WE’RE MOVING!
Thank the GOOD Lord above! Ha!
We finally found somewhere we can deal with for a year, with two bedrooms! So do you know what that means for this single mama?!
Peace. So much peace. And a less messier room!! Oh My God!
Have all the exclamation points given away how excited I am?!
It’s been a long time coming. I’ve come a long way. Around this time last year, I was getting up at 5am, getting bottles ready, my breakfast (and lunch sometimes) ready, getting Ky and I dressed, and carrying 2-3 bags while pushing a stroller for a 10min walk to the bus station, then having to rush 10mins to get Ky settled at daycare so I can catch my bus to work on time. It doesn’t sound like a lot and I managed pretty ok once I got the hang of things, but when the day was over, I was drained. I had no energy to talk, eat, dress, lesson plan…but somehow I did it. And I probably should have asked for help sometimes…but pride, man. It’s a helluva thing. I can’t tell you how except by saying it HAD to be God (and the amazing individuals He placed in my life).
Now a year later, I’ve been blessed with a car (like a NEW NEW car) and enough space for Ky to play and sleep as she pleases.
That’s definitely something I can be proud about.
